Was a class day out traveled up from Glasgow and was worth the drive, never caught a mega but will be back in 2 weeks for one ?

First time up today and couldn't have been made more welcome. In to a fish on my first cast... but I lost it �. When the fish do take they fight like hell and you certainly see plenty moving around. You just have to try and out smart them. Looking forward to going back.

Top class fishery with top class fish all fully fined and hard fighting managed to catch 3 and droped 3 and loads of takes. Very well mantinend and tidy cant wait to go back ��

Excellent fishery well managed and well stocked with outstanding quality trout at extremely reasonable prices. Not always easy to catch but you can't win them all. Well worth the visit and lovely scenery. 10/10

What a fantastic well kept professional run trout fishery. I have been fly fishing for over 40 years and I can honestly say that Ledyatt trout fishery is the nicest place I have ever visited. I was on a mobile home tour of Scotland, I visited Ledyatt trout fishery on the Monday, and also ended up fishing there Tuesday & Wednesday WHY great hospitality from David and the team at Ledyatt and catching trout of a life time huge and I mean huge. Visited today 18/02/2024 after a 400 mile drive to stay in Dundee We was greeted by the owner Dave who was absolutely brilliant The winds was not favourable but not the fisheries fault but a great day was had with 2 fish landed and several long range catch and release and lots of takes although the "mega's" eluded us on the day I feel the English never let the side down and when we're next in the area we will be back like a flash Thanks for such a great welcome Already looking to book another week up this way later in the year Highly recommended Mark

I fished ledyatt in mid june last year, i got one fish about 5lb on a tiny hares ear my mate blanked, before anyone throws a wobbly let me just say it wasnt the amount or quality of the fish in there that was the problem it was the weather, it got very hot very quickly & hardly anyone bagged up, even though we drove 6 & 1/2 hours from darlington to fish & only got one fish between us we were far from disapointed, lovely place & people, saw loads of large trout, the weather gods were against us, il be booking a trip for later this month to go back, thats how confident I am wel catch, cheers Keith
