We were on holiday in the area and our two boys wanted to do some fishing. We looked at a few fisheries and came to Ledyatt as they had a children pond. The welcome was very friendly and very helpful as we didn't have a clue on what to use. The boys both caught 2 rainbow trouts each and were very happy! Thanks for a great experience!

Brilliant afternoon for my first ever fishing trip with the kids. Friendly, helpful staff on hand to answer all my questions. Fantastic setting and we all caught a fish! Will definitely be back. Thanks again. Andy

Just a great place to fish, friendly atmosphere , log fire to keep you warm whilst having a snack with tea or coffee provided .

An awesome few hours at Ledyatt this afternoon. As a first time visitor I was so impressed with how well run the fishery was. From the neatly mown grass on the drive up, the immaculate banks, friendly introduction and the quality of the fishing. All first class! Genuinely lost count of how many fish we hooked on the C & R ticket. David's advice was invaluable and I look forward to returning soon.

Brilliant fishery and some of the best fighting rainbows I have been lucky enough to hook. Great advice and the tea and fire definitely helps thaw out. Always looking forward to returning.

I fished ledyatt in mid june last year, i got one fish about 5lb on a tiny hares ear my mate blanked, before anyone throws a wobbly let me just say it wasnt the amount or quality of the fish in there that was the problem it was the weather, it got very hot very quickly & hardly anyone bagged up, even though we drove 6 & 1/2 hours from darlington to fish & only got one fish between us we were far from disapointed, lovely place & people, saw loads of large trout, the weather gods were against us, il be booking a trip for later this month to go back, thats how confident I am wel catch, cheers Keith

Great fishery, really helpful and friendly staff and really good quality fish. I started fly fishing here back in May, I hadn’t fished in over two decades. I have fished here every week since, and thanks to the advice and support of the owner, staff and the other anglers I now routinely catch 5+ fish every time. Thanks David and team.

Wel as a group from n Ireland Ledyatt was a place on Bigfishhunterz 2019 to do list this year ... so we set sail Fri to fish it on Saturday morning .... It's was really a special trip away to us guys as one the lads in our group ended our trip in style by jumping into lake as he promised us he wud the whole lead up to it ... he landed his 1st mega at ledyatt ... we can't thank David and Paul enough for the days experience... and we can gladly say ATM we're working on returning again ...in 2024 for possibly some winter fishing .. Il promise use this is definitely a lake to go to for a good experience on different and bigger fish ... We actually haven't stopped talking about this place and when we were there we left are stamped tankard for the lads to as we do sponsor alot event back home ... From we stepped onto the lake we knew condition s were going to be tough and we had to work so hard to get fish . But myself , big Phil , and Marty all got are fish ...big Phil landing the biggest. Phil got his fish on a pink blob . I got my fish on a black-green to a black flashed lure with a gold head . martin I think not sure but possibly cuda bn a blob as well . We had phils father with us he is 74 and I must say this man fished so so hard .but sadly cudnt land the fish they kept getting off on him this is the joys of only fishing barbless hooks back at home in n Ireland .And to top this of for Billy they were all my flies I had tied him as a bigfishhunter surprise for ledyatt from me . also I wud like to mention in this too my big bro from other side water Paul Stevenson. Glad we met brother . Plus the guys use we're with .. This lake in my eyes is a big fat 5 golden ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks for everything on this special day to us Paul and David . Until we return in 2024 .. Excellent fishery well managed and well stocked with outstanding quality trout at extremely reasonable prices. Not always easy to catch but you can't win them all. Well worth the visit and lovely scenery. 10/10
